I am proud to announce that I have been recognised as Maître Artisan Antiparasitaire.  The Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat made the award in March 2026 in recognition of over 15 years of experience and committed professional service in pest control.  It is heartening to  receive this official stamp of approval, and to give the public the reassurance that when they need my services they can expect them to be done to the highest of standards.

A pest controller is one of those trades you hope you’ll never need to use, but when you do it is important to use a professional who can assess the situation quickly, and deal with the problem safely, effectively, and as ethically as possible.  Not many people are willing to put themselves on the front line against wasps, hornets, rodents, bed bugs, cockroaches etc.

Being qualified as an Applicateur 3D is just the starting point, to legally provide a pest control service but, like driving, there is a continuous learning journey building on exposure to new situations and problem-solving experience. Technology, tools, and knowledge on best practice have advanced over time, also.

It is for these reasons I have been an outspoken advocate of engaging professional pest control services over trying to resolve them with domestic resources and methods – not just here in France, but also in wider Europe.  Given my rich experience of the Asian hornet I have presented at several pest control conferences and have welcomed pest controllers from Great Britain to my hometown of Bessais le Fromental to benefit from my years of experience in treating Asian hornet nests, so they are prepared for when the species becomes more established across The Channel.
